Monfort Riserva Brut Trento doc, is the new entry at Simoni’s, it is the prize of the wait. A “millesimato” (year 2013), produced in accordance with the code of “Trento Doc Metodo Classico” with Chardonnay 80% and Pinot Nero 20% grapes, that ripen for 60 months on the yeasts, an ideal period to refine it to enhance its characteristics.
The vineyards are located at an an altitude of between 400 and 600 metres a.s.l., some on the hills of Trento and more precisely in the towns of Meano, Vigo Meano and Cortesano, and Pergine Valsugana. A mixed terroir from porphyry soil, similar to the one of Valle di Cembra, to the dandy one of Valsugana.
Bouquet: intense and complex, with fruity notes of strawberry and red apple.
Palate: rich, fragrant, harmonic, persisten.
Perlage: fine and persistent.
Delightful as an aperitif, a sparkling wine for a special toast and as lead in an important meal.
