Marzemino grape variety plays, for its excellent quality, an important role in the wine-making panorama of Trentino. The origins of this variety are uncertain, it is possible that this grape variety comes from Marzemin, a small village in Carinzia. Marzemino is mainly spread in the areas on the right side of River Adige, more precisely in the sub-hilly and hilly areas that go from Nomi to Pomarolo, to Isera and Mori. In Vallagarina, it has found its perfect soil and weather conditions able to give to the wine its amazing organoleptic characteristics. To make it different from other similar products it is called “Marzemino Gentile”. The name “gentile” (in english “sweet”) it is justify by an unbearable elegance of the product.
